Though this tiny idyllic village in Upper Austria has less than 500 inhabitants it attracts up to 900.000 tourists every year. A lot of them from Asia. With many travel restrictions still in place, summer was the perfect time for Fozzie to see this highly instagrammable spot with less tourists than usual. Apart from the romantic atmosphere of the village, Lake Hallstatt offers plenty of opportunity for watersports. Trips to nearby nature trails allow him to discover the beauty of the Austrian Alps. Let’s get to know the ‘Salzkammergut’. Fozzie in Hallstatt.

So this it is: Fozzie in Hallstatt. That famous view you may have seen in many postcards. Ehm, wait, what are postcards again?

Hallo Hallstatt! Watch out, captain Fozzie is coming your way. By the way, why has nobody told me before how to steer this thing?

Technically I am a bear and nature is my natural habitat. But, hey, even I am still impressed by the beauty of nature.

This lake is called Green Lake, but isn’t it turquoise? Or emerald, or blue? I am confused. But it is crystal clear for sure.

When it gets too hot on land, build a raft and hit the water.

You’ve seen enough? Close your eyes, lay back and dream that it is summer and you’re in Austria.

I wonder what things must have been like here during the hectic pre-Covid times. Feels good to be alone and enjoy the view.
