Fozzie in Angkor Wat
November 2017
Well, yes, technically Angkor Wat is just one of the many impressive temple ruins near the city of Siem Reap. But have you ever heard of Banteay Kdei or Taneiy? Most of those not so well known places around the famous Angkor Wat complex are just as or even more beautiful. Fozzie feels truly adventurous when he wanders through the Cambodian tropical forest to discover yet another magical place. See how Fozzie follows the footprints of Lara Croft.
- I feel like a true discoverer. Some ruins are really hard to find.
- Sometimes I am tempted to clear away some of the rubble.
- Cambodia is also called the “Land Of Smiles”. Even the statues smile.
- All of this really reminds me of “tombraider”
- Who needs Angelina Jolie when I make such a great Lara Croft?
- Be well prepared. You better bring a towel. Out in the sun it gets really hot.
- No climbing? Do they ever think of bears with just short legs?
- While the flock of tourists come here early for the sunrise, I rather enjoy a quiet minute in the afternoon.
- Angkor’s code of conduct says: “Don’t touch!” Of course, I wouldn’t.
- Temples everywhere. The next one is just around the corner.
- I made new friends too. Some were a little shy in the beginning.
- If things become to crowded inside, take a step back and enjoy.
