Fozzie in Bamako
December 2016
The last trip in 2016 takes Fozzie a bit off the beaten path, which makes it even more interesting. Mali isn’t exactly a typical tourist destination and its capital is definitely not the place for a tranquil stay. However, when Fozzie walks through the dusty streets and colourful markets he is welcomed with overwhelming openness, cordiality and friendliness. Bienvenue à Bamako!
- This is probaly one of the more quiet places you can find. Right on the banks of Niger river.
- I wonder if I can stop one of those green bush taxies.
- I am a bit overwhelmed by that huge bustle.
- Let’s have a look at the main train station when the next trains arrives.
- Watching the fishermen at the end of the day gives me peace and quiet.
