Did I promise too much? Just a few kilometers south of Cancún you’ll find lovely shallow bays with nicely turquoise waters.

Okay, I admit, Chichén Itzá is sort a Mexican Disneyland, but it is defintely a must-do.

Spot the difference? The ticket shows famous El Castillo pyramid in Chichén Itzá, but I am already in Uxmal.

You can even climb the pyramids here and it has less tourists.

-
It felt like I was the first to rediscover this pyramid.

Okay, I got up here. But how do I get down again? It is so steep.

“I wanna dance by water ‘neath the Mexican sky – Drink some Margaritas by a string of blue lights – Listen to the Mariachi play at midnight – Are you with me, are you with me?”
