Fozzie in Chicago
July 2015
If a city has its football team named “Bears” isn’t that reason enough for a small bear to come for a short visit? What if this city has a nice lakefront that makes you think you are at the Copacabana? Imagine the weather is nice and it is not windy at all. Impossible? No, Fozzie is a a lucky bear and he definitely enjoys his trip to Chi-Town, the City in a Garden, or simply: Chicago.
- Come on, it’s the windy city. Even when it’s not windy at all.
- Oh, what is the name of that river again? Detroit?
- I can almost here the snakelike bridge rattle.
- Who needs the Copacabana when you have North Avenue beach?
- I was lucky to be here on one of the days where you can even swim in the lake.
- Just in case you haven’t guessed by now in which city I am.
- You wouldn’t believe how often I came here to avoid the herds of tourists.
- One of these buildings makes me think of chewing gum. I don’t know why.
- Let’s have a look. I am not sure where I am. Maybe you can tell.
- What? My feet are not touching the ground? You were supposed to look at the skyline.
- Oh, now, I remember. It is the Chicago River.
- Why does ‘”Love and Marriage, go together like a horse and carriage’ come to my mind?
