Fozzie in Luang Prabang
December 2018
Throughout the years Fozzie has become more courageous to also travel off the beaten paths. Luang Prabang in north central Laos is a good example. The small city with less than 60.000 inhabitants has been the royal capital of the Kingdom of Laos until 1975. Until today it is still a UNESCO World Heritage Site. And a very beautiful place too. That is of course why Fozzie couldn’t refrain from seeing it with his own eyes. Fozzie in Luang Prabang.
- This is not just any river, this is the Mekong. Only that it is not as wide yet as you may know it.
- Wait, is this a temple? Or part of the museum? I am confused.
- Seriously? You want to me to cross this bamboo bridge?
- It’s a bit shaky, but it does seem strong enough to support me.
- The Kuang Si waterfalls are amazing. But they are also a good place for some adventure.
- Are you brave enough to do the same?
- As so often I am not allowed to move until the picture is perfect.
- And, what do you think? How do you like the result?
- Don’t miss to visit the night market. They sell plenty of interesting things.
