Fozzie in Rome
June 2017
It is said that tossing a coin into the Trevi fountain ensures that you will come back to Rome. Fozzie did that in 2013 and now he’s back. The legend is true! Unfortunately this stay wasn’t longer than 24 hours. Since they call it the Eternal City chances are high that there will be another opportunity for Fozzie to return to Rome.
- Rome feels like a giant open air museum.
- Imagine that the old Romans walked through the same streets.
- Did you know? You’re supposed to toss the coin with your right hand over your left shoulder. It’s tricky with short arms.
- I walked a lot and my feet got dirty. Time to pause at the famous Spanish Steps.
- It’s not allowed to swim in public fountains. But cooling your feet after a long walk should be okay.
- I am sure if you look very closely you can see the Pope waving at me from Vatican City.
