Fozzie in Venice
July 2020
Well, it’s obvious. 2020 isn’t exactly the best year for traveling. During the summer months in the Northern Hemisphere there was a small window of opportunity for travels within Europe. Fozzie decided to visit some of the places that are usually packed with tourists at that time of the year. And Venice is definitely one of those places. It’s sad to see the tourism industry suffer from the pandemic, but Fozzie was quite happy to have the city almost to himself. Follow him to ‘La Serenissima’ – Fozzie in Venice.
- Traveling is different in these times. But I am thrilled that I can travel at all.
- Riding a gondola here is just as common as taking the bus in other parts of the world.
- They say the water has become so much clearer now. I am not sure, but I guess I can see some fish down there.
- It’s obvious, right? That’s me, Fozzie in Venice.
- Can you imagine what St. Mark’s Square looks like in normal times?
- They said ‘wear a mask’. I am not sure if this is what they meant. But, hey, I feel like Elton John.
- Would you trust me if I was your gondolier?
- Come on, jump right into my gondola. But don’t expcect me to sing.
- Burano is the smaller but more colourful sister of Venice.
- Hi there. Can I get a ride?
- If you want to add some colour to your life then Burano is definitely the place to go to.
- You know how I can be very romantic, don’t you?
