Fozzie on Tenerife
July 2016
Fozzie seems to like volcano islands. After his recent trip to Santorini in the Aegean Sea, he now discovers a holiday destination in the Atlantic Ocean. Popular with tourist crowds during summer season, he still finds some hidden spots. Some even make him feel like being on the moon. Follow Fozzie to the largest of the Canary Islands: Tenerife.
- Look, I can drive and do sightseeing at the same time.
- You would tell me if the volcano emits smoke, wouldn’t you? Oh, maybe it’s just a cloud.
- It’s a tourist destination. I just have to spend time on the beach too.
- These things literally need no soil at all.
- Almost every Spanish city has a Plaza de España. So does Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
- I wonder what made people settle in this remote valley.
- I went hiking and found “La Zapatilla de la Reina”, the Queen’s shoe. She must have had pretty big feet then.
- Not exactly the famous Teide volcano yet.
- Even a hazy sunset can be quite beautiful here.
- If it hadn’t that tree, I would think I am on the moon.
- Nobody told me that hiking in the lava fields is so exhausting.
The lava is really impressive. Like the fifth photo am best. I have a strong feel that the orange bear should belong to the city.
