Fozzie in Chengdu
June 2014
Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan province is well know for its spicy cuisine. During his two days visit Fozzie didn’t really dare to try it. Instead he took a short walk through the streets of this rapidly growing city and visited his distant relatives.
- Tomorrow I will see panda’s in their natural habitat
- Let’s just pretend it is traditonal
- That must Funan River with the lovely Anshun bridge
- How do I get to the panda’s? It’s all Greek to me. Or Chinese?
- I made it. I’ll see my distant relatives soon
- Selfie with orange bear and red panda. Yes, it is a panda!
- This lazy fellow is the only one I could find outside…
- …while the others all stay in air conditioned compounds
- My new friend wants me to try bamboo. I am not convinced
- I decided to take him with me. I hope Chinese customs won’t mind
- One more tea before I am off to bed
- Bye, bye Chengdu
