Fozzie in Istanbul
February 2014
Istanbul is the city that links Europe with Asia and where Orient and Occident are said to meet. Fozzie makes a short trip to see the buzzling city life around the grand bazaar. Of course he can not refrain from trying some Turkish delights.
- If this is the Golden Horn, then where is the golden bull?
- People look so small from here
- I wish I could swirl around like a dervish
- Seagulls, report to border control!
- Inside Hagia Sophia, once church, then mosque, now museum
- After sunset it is time for the Grand Bazaar
- Let’s see what I can find here
- Inside Mr. Can’s “Queen” shop
- Hey, Ramazan, please let my try some Baklava
- When I roar in this cistern, I sound like a grizzly
- It’s nighttime and people are still out in the streets
- It seems I had a little too much of the good stuff
- I didn’t dare to go into the blue mosque
